Sports players target market for new Casio wa
An oversized new watch released by Casio is aimed at those who play a lot of sport and are seeking a sturdy and imposing looking timepiece.
According to Crunch Gear, the latest Casio watches G-Shock design is "a massive wristband-like addition to the G-Shock line" and could appeal to the teen market as well as the sports players it is also aimed at.
"G-Shock has made their living on selling their brand of ironic nostalgia to hip-hop-loving teens everywhere and this new model is no exception," it said.
While the new Casio watch may not offer much in the way of technology and features, it will no doubt appeal to those who like their timepiece to be a fashion statement and an integral part of their overall look.
Crunch Gear called it "big, bold and saucy" so it may not be for those who prefer elegant styling.
Pop star Pixie Lott is an ambassador for the watch firm and recently spoke about its Baby G range, which can help add a touch of fun to any outfit.
