Cheap watches worn loose - the next big trend
Those who like to follow all the latest trends in fashion may be interested to hear that watches worn loose on the wrist could be the next big thing.
Writing for a blog on JCK Online, style commentator Cynthia Sliwa noted that as summer approaches and the temperature rises, clothing often gets looser to accommodate the heat - and this change could also be seen on the wrists of some fashionistas.
"Rather than strapping or clasping the wristwatch so that it fits close to the wrist, this trend has the watch worn loose enough to slide up the arm or to fall over the top portion of the hand," she said, which could tempt fashion followers to get their hands on a cheap watch.
Pictures on the blog show US actress Jessica Biel on the cover of Company magazine wearing a loose-fitting watch with her silver miniskirt and one-shoulder white top.
Meanwhile, pop star and watch lover Pixie Lott recently took centre stage at a different kind of event from her usual gigs and was a bridesmaid at her cousin's wedding.
