Tissot watches up for grabs in motoring event
Drivers taking part in the Tissot Pit Road Precision race recently were rewarded with luxury time pieces from the watch brand.
According to Motorsport.com, the winning team in each Sprint Cup Race at the Daytona International Speedway each scooped prize money totalling $5,000 (£3,331) as well as a Tissot watch.
Winners were given a Tissot V8 Quartz Chronograph Watch, the source reported, and the team at the end of the day's racing who scooped the most Tissot Pit Road Precision Awards wins also won prize money and Tissot watches for all drivers and crew members. A total of 36 races were held at the speedway.
Crews which took part in the day of racing included DuPont Chevrolet, the National Guard crew and the Cheerios crew.
Tissot watches are often used by sportsmen and women due to their reliability and durability and the Tissot T-Touch Navigator watch was recently praised for being both high tech and versatile, on a blog on Bharat Textile.
