TV presenter tests out Tissot Sailing-Touch
Blue Peter presenter and outdoor activities fan Helen Skelton has tested out a watch from Tissot which boasts all the gadgets and features needed by someone out on the open waves.
Specifically designed to be used by sailors, the Tissot Sailing Touch features a barometer to track weather conditions, as well as a tide calculator, compass and speed gauge.
In an article in the Daily Mail, Skelton said she liked the design of the watch and even got a compliment on it the first time she wore it out. As well as being a fan of the look of the timepiece, she praised the Tissot Sailing-Touch for its intelligent touchscreen.
"It's a clever idea and makes a nice change from having to push buttons dozens of times to get the feature you want, as you do with most technical watches," she commented.
Skelton is no stranger to the great outdoors and recently completed a sailing challenge down the Amazon river in aid of Sport Relief.
