Tissot Quadrato news: Owen still has England
Tissot ambassador Michael Owen has been told his England career is not over.
The footballer was ruled out of the World Cup in South Africa this year after he pulled a hamstring in the Carling Cup final in February.
But England Under-21 boss Stuart Pearce said he still has a chance of getting back into the England team when he is fit.
"It's wrong to say Michael's international career is over and that Fabio doesn't like him," Pearce said to the Sun newspaper.
"He picks the squad on merit and the door is still open for Michael."
The news could be a comfort to the Manchester United forward who will miss the rest of the season because of his injury.
One of the many offerings from the watch company that Owen is an ambassador for include the Tissot Quadrato, which features a leather strap and quartz movement.
