Tissot watches ambassador aims for 50 goals
NHL player Steven Stamkos has a shot at making it 50 goals for the season after he notched his 41st last night (March 9th) against the Montreal Canadiens.
The Tampa Bay Lightning centre admitted the achievement would be a special one after he surpassed his 40-goal pre-season aim.
"It's definitely reachable, the way things are going. It's definitely in the back of my mind," he told the Montreal Gazette.
And the Tissot watches ambassador now has 17 games remaining to improve on his 41-goal tally.
The 20-year-old's five goals and six points in three games was enough for him to be named the NHL's second star for the week ending Sunday March 7th and his head coach Rick Tocchet said the player must not get complacent after his recent form.
Earlier this month Danica Patrick another Tissot ambassador moved to the IndyCar series from NASCAR and announced via her Twitter account she would miss the NASCAR cars and people in the sport.
