Tissot took care of every last detail to ensure that time-keeping of the 2009 MotoGP achieved accuracy, a spokesperson for the prestigious watchmaker said.
“The Tissot 2009 T-Race MotoGP Limited Edition added the ultimate finishing touch to the equipment for the championship. As black as the high-performance tires of the MotoGP bikes, the 9,002 pieces of this special sports watch will keep top followers perfectly on track,” the official said.
The T-Race limited edition has a sporty black case surrounding a carbon dial, attached by a black rubber strap with yellow touches on the second-hands and counters; in motor sport, the colour warns of danger, in the form of a marshal’s flag.
A symbolic chequered flag replaces the 60-second mark and the timepiece is engraved with a MotoGP logo on the strap buckle.
Other usual features are water resistance (100m), sapphire crystal, 316L stainless steel case with rotating bezel, a carbon dial, limited edition of 9,002 and a MotoGP helmet packaging with 18-interchangeable medallions and special tooling kit.
